Cross Creek West Begins North Phase of Development

Johnson Development’s Cross Creek West is moving into its next phase of development, adding 250 homesites by the end of the year and introducing new builders and lot sizes that expand the community into the luxury home market.
Johnson Development is adding larger homesites of 65-, 70- and 80-feet wide to the community’s north side. The north tract’s first phase will also include lots ranging from 45 to 60 feet wide.
“With over 160 home sales this year, Cross Creek West has grown quickly, and this new phase will meet that demand,” said Sam Seligmann, Vice President and General Manager of Cross Creek West. “Earlier this year, we expanded our floor plan portfolio by introducing two of the five new builders, Coventry Homes and Ravenna Homes. With the newest addition of builders in our north tract being David Weekley Homes, Toll Brothers and Partners in Building.”
Partners in Building will offer custom homes on Cross Creek West’s new 80-foot homesites. Located in a gated neighborhood, the homes are expected to start at $1.1 million, with home sales likely starting by year’s end. A model home will be located in the neighborhood.
Toll Brothers will have six floor plans with four distinct elevations per plan for 65-foot homesites. Pre-sales should start before the model home opens next spring.
David Weekley Homes will offer plans from its new Texas series for 65-foot homesites and is planning one model home in the community. Home sales are expected to begin shortly before the model home opens next spring.
Current builders Highland Homes and Newmark Homes have been tapped for the 70-foot homesites. Newmark Homes starts pre-sales mid-September, with 10 floor plans that include six with multi-generational layouts. Highland is designing plans specifically for Cross Creek West. Both builders are planning new model homes.
Highland Homes and Ravenna Homes, another new Cross Creek West builder, will offer the same floor plans for 60-foot homesites in the north tract as they do in the south.
Newmark Homes is also building on 50-foot homesites in the north tract, along with Coventry Homes, which debuted in the community earlier this year. Both builders will offer their current line-up of floor plans in the new section.
Perry Homes and Westin Homes also will bring their current lineup of floor plans to 45-foot and 55-foot homesites in Cross Creek West’s north tract.
All builders are expected to be selling in the north tract next spring.
Located along FM 359 north of downtown Fulshear, the 1,258-acre Cross Creek West is planned for more than 3,000 homes. The southern portion of the community still selling, with about 300 homesites remaining.
In addition to introducing Coventry Homes and Ravenna Homes to its builder lineup earlier this year, the community also added four new parks that appeal to a variety of ages and interests — Silly Goose Park, Twilight Park with pickleball courts, Zoomies Dog Park and The Links putting green.
Already open in the community is The Waterhole amenity complex with a pool, fitness center, playground, and courts for tennis and pickleball. Residents also have access to parks, pools and other amenities at sister community Cross Creek Ranch, which recently completed the sale of all new homes.
Haygood Elementary opened in the community in August 2025, and Debbie Urbanski Junior High School and Troy Williams High School are slated to open next year in the north tract.
