Fulshear Central: The Next Hub for Working, Shopping and Dining

Named Fulshear Central, developer Janapriya Upscale USA broke ground in June 2025 on the 22-acre project the firm is calling a “functional lifestyle center.”
The Vision
Located at the southeast corner of FM 1093 and Bois D’Arc Lane, the vision for Fulshear Central is to create a central gathering space for families and locals to work, shop, eat, and enjoy the outdoors. When completed, Fulshear Central will be a pedestrian-oriented complex with shopping, office, and dining space surrounding a Town Square-like green space, according to Kirksey Architecture, a Texas-based architecture firm.
In addition to retail and office space itself, plans for the 22 acres include:
- an open-air pavilion and a coffee or ice cream shop at each end of the green space
- a 5-acre pond
- a 1/2-mile walking trail around the pond
- 2 acres of park space
- links to 20 miles of existing trails, creating more walkability for nearby residents in Cross Creek West

Opening timelines are unknown.
Spaces are also earmarked on the site plan for likely tea, spa, medical, restaurant, and dessert tenants. Twenty-two of 44 office condos have also been sold as of August.
By the Numbers
Janapriya, an India-based real estate firm, has been developing projects in the U.S. since 2017, including the Katy Parkway Market at the Grand Parkway and I-10.
Its latest project in Fulshear includes 17 buildings within Fulshear Central.
This spans:
- 56,100 square feet of office space among 10 buildings
- 75,000 square feet of retail for lease among seven buildings
According to Stephanie Wilkinson, the vice president and director of marketing for Kirksey Architecture, single-story retail buildings are being constructed along FM 1093 while one- and two-story retail and/or office buildings will be grouped around the central green space. One- and two-story office buildings will be located around the 5-acre lake on the property.
What’s Next
According to KHOU 11, Janapriya expects to complete the first five of 10 office buildings in fall 2026.
