Excited About One New Amenity? How About Four!

Giggles, bouncing balls, the quiet drop of a golf ball into a cup, and joyful barks — that will be the soundtrack of our new parks and play spaces opening this summer!

We’re introducing not one but four new parks to our community this summer, and they’re going to have something to entice everyone outside.

Parents of toddlers will appreciate Silly Goose Park, a play space specially sized for little feet and hands. Swings, slides, and climbing elements will encourage exploration, movement, and imagination. Adding to the Silly Goose adventures will be musical play features where littles can tap, spin, and create sounds as they play. Soft, rubberized surfacing will make playtime safer. Parents and caregivers can watch it all from shady seats, ready to bring out water and snacks when needed. Mornings of fun and friendships will be followed by afternoons of naps for the tuckered-out tots.

The largest new park will be the nearly 1-acre Sunset Park, where residents can learn what pickleball is all about. The duo of lighted courts will be surrounded by sound-reducing plexiglass, allowing conversation to flow easily at the nearby covered pavilion. A large, shady playground is also nearby, where kids of varying ages can climb, slide, and maybe slay imaginary dragons. Sunset Park takes on a new vibe as the sun goes down and the soft lights strung over picnic tables come on, giving residents a place to gather evenings.

The appropriately named Zoomies Dog Park will allow pups to do just that — get their zoomies out leash-free. The park’s 8,000 square feet provide plenty of space for dogs to run. Small dogs who are skittish around larger canines (or vice versa — some 7-pounders have no idea how small they are) will have their own separate play areas.

Residents can hone their putting skills for the golf or putt-putt course at The Links Putting Green. This 3,000-square-foot putting green features seven holes letting you perfect your own game or challenge a neighbor to a little friendly competition. Those who don’t golf can play lawn games and relax in chairs in the surrounding green space.

These new spaces are a thoughtful addition to the many amenities our residents already enjoy — the pools and fitness center at The Waterhole amenity complex, community playgrounds, tennis courts, and extensive trails. Next door at Cross Creek Ranch, our residents can have even more fun, with access to more pools, dozens of parks, sports courts, a disc golf course, and more.
