Check Out What’s Coming to Fulshear!

Fulshear is booming, and with it, a host of new businesses and shopping destinations are coming soon near Cross Creek West. From new mixed-use developments to two new locations of Texans’ favorite grocer—H-E-B—you’ll want to find your new home now in Cross Creek West and savor the thrill of a grand opening or two.

Businesses to bookmark

Make sure to bookmark these new options coming soon to shop, eat and support local businesses just a short drive from Cross Creek West.

Errands are about to get quicker as H-E-B is opening in late 2025 at the intersection of Texas Heritage Parkway and Jordan Crossing Boulevard.

H-E-B also owns land in Fulshear less than 3 miles south of Cross Creek West at the southeast corner of FM 1093 and Fulshear Trace, according to Fort Bend County property tax records. Further information about a construction timeline for the store has not been shared, however.

Scoops, a Georgia-based ice cream and sweets shop, is bringing its array of 32 flavors of homemade ice cream to 6601 Skyline Drive, Ste. 200, Fulshear, this fall as the sweet shop’s first location in the Lone Star State.

Nearby, Texadelphia, an eatery serving up classic cheesesteaks with Texas flair, is opening at 6519 Skyline Drive, Ste. 800, Fulshear, this fall with construction already underway.

Whataburger has built a new location at 29639 FM 1093, Fulshear. No word yet on when it will open, but we can’t wait to dip our fries into the spicy ketchup!

Additionally, Celebree School of Cross Creek Ranch will open its new early childhood education center at 6511 Skyline Drive, Fulshear, in the first quarter of 2026, and Serene Head Spa and Wellness is opening Aug. 23 at 28840 FM 1093, Ste. 140, Fulshear.

Early next year, CVS Pharmacy is slated to open in February at 6726 FM 359, Fulshear.

School of Rock-Fulshear is also gearing up to offer its music program for kids at 6511 Skyline Drive, Ste. 100, Fulshear. It’s expected to open this summer.

An architectural permit has been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for McDonalds likely to open near Cross Creek West at 29706 FM 1093, Fulshear, though the company has not yet shared information on the new location.

Mixed-use developments to watch

There’s plenty of new commercial hubs coming soon, too, with outdoor gathering spaces, walkable areas and more to enjoy.

At the entrance to Cross Creek West, construction is expected to start later this fall on The Commons at Cross Creek West and be ready for tenants in early 2026. The new 5-acre commercial development by ARVO Ventures will include two buildings totaling 25,112 square feet, plus two pad sites for shopping, dining and professional services to occupy.

Just 2 miles from Cross Creek West, Founders Hill Retail Center is breaking ground soon, as well. Main Street Commercial Partners expects to begin construction on the 33-acre mixed-use hub by the end of the year and be ready for tenants in late summer 2026. Located at 30200 FM 1093, Fulshear, the new regional shopping destination will combine retail, dining and entertainment concepts with office space as well as shaded courtyards, bike-friendly walkways and 5 acres of greenspace for residents to enjoy.

Nearby, construction started on Fulshear Central, a new mixed-use development, on June 5, according to developer Janapriya Upscale USA. Although specific businesses haven’t been announced yet for Fulshear Central—located south of FM 1093 and Texas Heritage Parkway—the complex is anticipated to feature 70,000 square feet of retail space, 55,000 square feet of office condos and a boutique hotel. Plans also include more than 7 acres of parks and greenspace, and more than 20 miles of connected trails that Cross Creek West residents can visit.

Cross Creek West residents will also soon be able to make a quicker trip to Target. A new Target is anchoring the long-awaited Texas Heritage Marketplace, a 165-acre project by NewQuest Properties that’s bringing retail, dining, apartments and medical office space to the west Katy and Fulshear areas at the southeast corner of I-10 and Texas Heritage Parkway. An opening date for the major retailer hasn’t been announced.

America’s Best Eyeglasses & Contacts, Milano Nail Spa, Aji Izakaya, EoS Fitness, Whataburger, The Kebab Shop, Kilwins and Escalante’s are also confirmed for Texas Heritage Marketplace, according to NewQuest’s propertyinformation. Permits have also been filed for Lowe’s, the home improvement retailer, and Sam’s Club—the wholesale store and fuel station—to be added to the marketplace, too.

Fulshear Lakes Town Center is under construction off of FM 1093 and expected to be ready for tenants at the end of this year. Located at the northeast corner of FM 1093 and Fulshear School Way, Fulshear’s first town center is being developed by XAG Properties and will include four multi-tenant retail buildings as well as walkable spaces, an entertainment area and outdoor patios to enjoy.
